日曜古里乃ギャラリーNo.16 Nagasaki讃歩
【 如己堂 】
「如己愛人」（にょこあいじん）
長崎市名誉市民第一号 永井隆博士が残した言葉
このわずか畳２畳程の”如己堂”で平和への執筆を続けた永井隆。
”長崎の鐘”の作曲家小関裕二や、ヘレンケラーもこの居を訪問している。
下記は、1949年に刊行された著書「いとし子よ」の冒頭部分
．
「わがいとし子よ ”汝の近きものを 己の如く愛すべし”
そなたたちに遺す私の言葉は、この句をもって始めたい。
そして恐らく終わりもこの句をもって結ばれ、ついにすべてがこの句に
含まれることになるだろう。」
．
一瞬にして原爆で母を亡くした二人の我が幼な子へ
残り少ない自分の命を感じ、残した言葉が今の私たちへの強いメッセージと感じます。

“Nyoko Aijin”
Nagasaki City Honorary Citizen No.1 Words left by Dr. Takashi Nagai
Takashi Nagai continued to write for peace in this “Nyoko-do” of only about 2 tatami mats.
Yuji Koseki, composer of “Nagasaki’s Bell”, and Helen Keller are also visiting the house.
The following is the beginning of the book “Love my children” published in 1949.
“My chirdren, “You should love thy near you as you do.”
I want to have this phrase and start my word left to you.
And perhaps the end is tied with this phrase, and finally everything is in this phrase
will be included. 」

To my two young children who lost their mother in an instant to the atomic bomb
I feel that there are few remaining lives, and that the words I have left are a strong message to us now.
