2019.10.24 「桃渓橋　～　ももたにばし」

♪長崎は今日も雨だった～♪ 昨日は夕方から雨。

石が好きな私。有名な眼鏡橋もいいですが、

今日はしっとり濡れた　”桃渓橋（ももたにばし）”を紹介します。

もっと中島川上流。本流と西山川の二つの川が合流する所にあり、

名前の由来を調べてみると、昔は湖畔に桃の木がたくさんあって、桃の名所として有名だったそう。

そして、唐船から降ろされた荷物を積んだ小舟がこの辺りまで漕いで上っていたとの事。その安全祈願塔もあり、私のお気に入りの場所の一つだ。

水の音と、雨に光る石橋。そして紅いカンナの花に癒された日でした。
