2019.12.7 「　慈母　」

昨日は、ローマ法王来県　特別企画　「日本の聖母マリア像」展を見てきました。

重要文化財のわずか13㎝ほどの聖母像や、潜伏キリシタンの人たちが肌身離さず付けていた首から背中にかける布。など、聖母を慕い、保護を受けるものとして残されているものが展示されており、いかに禁教令の中、信仰を守り続けていたかが実際見てわかりました。

長崎歴史文化博物館にて、本日7日まで。　入口には先月24日長崎でのローマ教皇合同ミサの写真が飾られています。

At the Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture, until the 7th of today.　The entrance is decorated with photos of the Pope’s Joint Mass in Nagasaki on 24th last month.

(“Loving mother” is a collaboration work of five years ago with Mr. Hamabe.)
