2019.12.12 「長崎市の木～ナンキンハゼ」

長崎国際埠頭に停泊する豪華客船の前に長崎市の木、”ナンキンハゼ”がたくさん植えられています。

今から約40年前、原爆被爆30周年の記念行事の一つとして「ながさきの木」を募集した際、102種類、1,825通の応募の中から選ばれたそう。

種子は中国木蝋、葉は染料、根皮は利尿剤として使われ、現在青空の中、凛として長崎の地に立っています。

又、国際埠頭前にはさだまさしさんの呼びかけで全国から集められた募金によって設立された”ピースミュージアム”もあり、モニュメントの音符♫が沢山の外国観光客の目も楽しませています。　　8:26 晴
